Tropical Madness

Here at Heinz, we're mad about plants and we love sharing that madness with you! We're excited to present TROPICAL MADNESS- a chance for houseplant enthusiasts to celebrate and discover the delightful world of houseplants. Come have FUN with us while learning basic plant care information and gathering general tips and guidelines to follow for the best care of your indoor plants. Whether you're just getting started or already growing, there's something for everyone at Heinz!

Terrarium Make & Take Activity at Tropical Madness
Plant with us at the Terrarium Make & Take table during Tropical Madness! Choose a container from our store selection or bring one from home (open or closed top) and fill it with potting materials and pixie plants. A Heinz Brothers helper will be available to guide you through the process. All instruction and materials provided; additional fees apply to plants and additional material upgrades.
Space is limited and registration is strongly encouraged to ensure proper space at the table. A $15 workshop fee per terrarium/mini project will be collected upon registration which covers instruction and soil for containers 12" or less.
Tables Open:
- Saturday, March 7th: 9:30 am- 4:00 pm
- Sunday, March 8th: 10:30 am-3:00 pm
Details:
- Activity takes approximately 1 hour to complete
- Registration timeslots begin every half hour (9:30-10:30, 10:00-11:00, 10:30-11:00...).
- Workshop fee of $15 is required for EACH TERRARIUM to be completed. Additional people may assist with the same terrarium at no charge.
- Multiple terrarium registrations can be purchased at one time. Registrations purchased at the same time will be seated together.

Discover hidden fairy gardens throughout the store with an extensive Fairy Gardens Scavenger Hunt; Build a fairy garden from start to finish at the Make & Take Fairy Garden activity table; Enter to win the grand prize fairy garden; come dressed as your favorite fairy or magical creature for extra fun!

Create your own magical fairy garden with Heinz Brothers expert fairy staff during Fairy Festival Weekend, April 11th and 12th, 2026. Purchase everything here, or bring an empty container from home.
