Pumpkin Succulent Centerpiece Workshop
Thursday, Oct. 16 - 5:00 - 6:00 pm
Create a darling succulent masterpiece for the fall holidays. This one of a kind centerpiece will last you through the holiday season and will make a prized table decoration during your holiday entertaining. Using a Cinderella pumpkin, we will add 5 succulents and decorative moss to create your unique centerpiece.
Program Fee: $65

Pumpkin Decoupage
Thursday, Oct. 16 - 3:00 - 4:00 pm
Try a fabulous new way to decorate for fall!! We will use plant material from the garden center (or if you have special foliage from home, you can bring it) and decorate the gourd or pumpkin of your choice.
Program Fee: $10 small/ $12 large plus price of pumpkin

Gnome Pumpkin Workshop
Join us in a delightful autumn craft where you will transform an ordinary pie pumpkin into an adorable autumn gnome! Perfect for porches, windowsills, or anywhere that needs a sprinkle of harvest magic! Program fee includes pie pumpkin and decorative accessories for your gnome.

Scarecrow Making
This class is a great way to start off the fall season. The scarecrow class is fantastic family fun! Heinz Brothers provides everything needed for your life-size scarecrow, so come and have fun without the clean up. Clothes, straw and additional materials are supplied by Heinz Brothers.

Pumpkin Painting
Great for all ages! Come paint a pie pumpkin at Heinz Brothers and take home a masterpiece to display.

Winter Container Workshop

Don’t leave your containers empty for the winter! Dress them with an assortment of greenery, decorative branches and other holiday accessories for enjoyment through the bustle of season and into the new year!

Holiday Centerpiece- Adults
Saturday, Dec. 7, 2025- 12:00- 1:00 pm

Let Heinz Brothers guide you in making a beautiful holiday centerpiece for your table or mantel. Long-lasting and fragrant greens plus festive accessories will be available for use for either a round or rectangular centerpiece.
Program Fee:
$45 Round design
$55 Rectangle design

Holiday Centerpiece- Kids (ages 4+)
Saturday, Dec. 7, 2025- 11:00- 12:00 pm
Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025 - 11:30am- 12:30pm
Come create a festive holiday centerpiece using fresh greens for your home! Each centerpiece will receive a pre-made decorative bow and some festive picks. Your child will leave with a wrapped and ready to give holiday gift!

Winter Gnome Centerpiece

Come create a fun and whimsical centerpiece for your home in the shape of a gnome using fresh evergreens! Long lasting and fragrant greens make the holidays special and making the masterpiece yourself is so rewarding. All materials included.

Kids Handprint Snowman Ornament
Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025 - 10:00 – 11:00 am
Kids create an ornament that looks like snowmen from their own handprint. Add an air plant and its a living ornament! Perfect for a fun little gift! Program located at Heinz Brothers Greenhouse Garden Center.

Fall Container Planting Party
Let Heinz Brothers help you select and plant many cold-tolerant foliage and flowering plants. Fall planters are a great transition and last through cold temperatures with no problems. Potting soil, fertilizer, plant material and container included in the material fee.

porch gnome
Add a bit of whimsy to your front porch this winter with an evergreen gnome. Learn how to put these together for yourself and customize it to your liking. They'll stand about 3-4 feet tall and are cute as a button. All material included.

Kokedama Ball
Fall in love with Kokedama! This Japanese planting is created when the plant roots and soil are wrapped in moss and held together with waxed string. Bring your bestie, or anyone who loves fun, and come to Heinz Brothers to create a living sculpture that will become a handmade accent for your home, or a heartfelt gift for a loved one. All material is included with program fee.

Be Green Terrarium Workshop
Don't throw away that old glass container when you can bring it to Heinz and make a beautiful terrarium! They are an easy to care for planting project that is fun for all ages. Come to Heinz Brothers Greenhouse Garden Center where we will help you create a terrarium- from choosing the plants to teaching maintenance at home. You can even add fairy lights and make it a night time delight! Bring a glass container from home (closed lid or open) or purchase one from our wide selection in store.
Workshop includes instruction, rock, charcoal, soil and moss. Plant material and containers are not included in the program fee.

Create a Succulent Bowl
Succulents have many textures, forms and colors that create beautiful works of art planted togehter in a bow. Come to Heinz Brothers Greenhouse Garden Center and we will help you choose your plants and create your succulent bowl design. We will also discuss maintenance and plant care for success with your new masterpiece.
Program fee includes instruction, rock, soil and sand. Plant material and container to be used is not included.
