Be Green Terrarium Workshop
Don't throw away that old glass container when you can bring it to Heinz and make a beautiful terrarium! They are an easy to care for planting project that is fun for all ages. Come to Heinz Brothers Greenhouse Garden Center where we will help you create a terrarium- from choosing the plants to teaching maintenance at home. You can even add fairy lights and make it a night time delight! Bring a glass container from home (closed lid or open) or purchase one from our wide selection in store.
Workshop includes instruction, rock, charcoal, soil and moss. Plant material and containers are not included in the program fee.

Create a Succulent Bowl
Succulents have many textures, forms and colors that create beautiful works of art planted togehter in a bow. Come to Heinz Brothers Greenhouse Garden Center and we will help you choose your plants and create your succulent bowl design. We will also discuss maintenance and plant care for success with your new masterpiece.
Program fee includes instruction, rock, soil and sand. Plant material and container to be used is not included.

Kokedama Ball
Fall in love with Kokedama! This Japanese planting is created when the plant roots and soil are wrapped in moss and held together with waxed string. Bring your bestie, or anyone who loves fun, and come to Heinz Brothers to create a living sculpture that will become a handmade accent for your home, or a heartfelt gift for a loved one. All material is included with program fee.

Kid's Paint-a-Pot
Kids can paint a pot and plant it up with beautiful flowers for someone special! This is a perfect gift to show your love and appreciation. Plant material, container, soil and fertilizer are included in the program fee.

Kindness Rocks
Create community gifts of love and encouragement! We provide the rocks and paint and you create the inspiration. You will get 3 polished rocks to paint. One to keep, one to give to a friend and one to hide in your neighborhood.

Herb Garden
Come to Heinz Brothers for some hands-on workshop fun where you'll learn to create an edible herb planter! Perfect for cooking enthusiasts and gardeners big and small. Learn how you can grow fresh herbs right outside your kitchen door or in a windowsill indoors. Plant material, container, soil, fertilizer and recipes are included in the program fee.
